At the center of Big Coque is the big man himself, Coque Ross.  Coque, a singer/guitarist, grew up in Miami but moved to Hutchinson Island in 2010.  He started the Big Coque band in September of that year and has been working as a full-time musician ever since.  Singing a wide range of material consisting of Classic Rock, Funk, Blues and Soul, Coque has delighted thousands of fans with his big, soulful and toneful voice.  Coque can be heard regularly as a solo, duo, trio or quartet at all the finest venues on the Treasure Coast. 

Coque started his musical journey by playing and singing at church when he was 10 years old.  Playing with talented and studied musicians at an early age taught him what it took to deliver a great performance, every time.  He has been performing ever since and with that strong professional work ethic and some God-given talent, he delivers the goods at every show.
